As you already know, ownership of the site has recently changed. Beisdes the changes you've already seen in the forums, several others will soon be made. This includes replacement of the home page with the new, gaudy version; call it homepage 2.0 if you will, replete with more flaws and bugs to be worked out in the homepage 2.5 patch due out next year.

I'm sure most of you are already wondering why bother when everyone only comes here for the forums, when the new front page couldn't hope to achieve the greatness that was striker's vision, and when most of the crap you'll see posted here won't be fit to print out on new improved Quilted Northern for the purpose of wiping your ass with. Well, the truth is, a gaudy web page is imperative for attracting the attention of bigger sites that like to make fun of sites like this one. Negative attention is better than no attention and we're gunning for as much negative attention as we can get.

So while you're sitting at your computer flaming away with another keyboard warrior hundreds of miles away, take a moment to think about that half-assed effort going into the rest of the site.
